This is another try to upload this video clip. The last time I tried it took over 8 hours to upload and over 12 hours to process only to give an error message. I reformatted&edited the file so hopefully this one will upload right. It is taken from a 21 year old VHS tape and it is the last Family Christmas Party that my Grandmother Medlin planned and hosted. She loved Christmas and knew how to celebrate. Her theme for this Christmas party was "Christmas around the World" and she did a lot of research of how Christmas is celebrated in different parts of the world for this event. She made take home programs of the different traditions including the various ways Santa is portrayed by different countries. She incorporated some of those traditions into her party such as the yule log and caroling plus family skits, etc. Some of you who know my dad may get a kick out of seeing what he looked like 21 years ago. I never got to meet my Grandmother Medlin here on Earth but videos like these are very special as it gives me a glimpse of what she was like and how her voice sounded. This video is for my Pop-Pop, aunt Brenda&uncle Wendell as well as my cousins Chris, Amy&Jolie.
